My name is John Loi and I am the owner of Floyds
Knobs Therapeutic Massage Clinic, Inc. I have lived
in Floyds Knobs just about all my life. I am married to
my soul mate and best friend Jan and have 3
beautiful daughters and have 9 grandchildren.

I am retired from BellSouth. While I was still working at BellSouth I attended The
Louisville School of Massage two nights a week for two years. At that time the
school had a 500 hour program which included learning the different muscle
groups, anatomy, and physiology and lots of hands on training.

I am Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworks. National
certification is required in most states to be licensed in massage therapy. To
keep your certification a therapist must also take continuing education classes
and an ethics course. I am also State Certified by the state of Indiana
#MT20900007. I have been practicing massage for 10 years and have been
here at Floyds Knobs Therapeutic Massage Clinic since 2002. I look forward to
meeting you and to help you with your massage needs.
Marisa Bonacum graduated from Advanced Massage Therapeutics in Louisville,
KY. She completed 600 hours of study which includes deep tissue massage
therapy, Injury assessment and massage therapy, anatomy and physiology. She
also has completed comprehensive training in Geriatric Massage. Marisa will be
available through the week and on most Saturdays. Marisa is also Nationally
Certified in Massage.

Therapist - Carolyn Barnes, NCTMB, CMT
| Carolyn graduated July 2008 from Ivy Tech Community College of Fort Wayne, IN. She completed a 1000 hour program receiving an Associate in Applied Science specializing in Therapeutic Massage. She has just become Nationally Certified March 31, 2009. Trained in massage for orthopedic conditions ranging from TMJ to plantar fasciitis (head to toe). Carolyn is looking forward to meeting you and applying her deep tissue massage therapies, techniques in reflexology, or giving a relaxation massage to rejuvenate you today. |
